Take off! U.K, we are coming…

Pulcino d’Oro spreads its wings and flies to England to our Partner Leeds United Association Football Club’s home.

On Saturday 2 March the kick-off will be given in the city of Leeds, for the first English Pulcino d’Oro Tournament, with Premier League and Championship clubs, such as Leeds United, Newcastle, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Wigan and Nottingham Forest. The first English Pulcino d’Oro  Tournament could not have more welcome guests, with clubs of international standing, like the hosts, Leeds United, capable of ringing three successes in the English championship and to get a breath of victory in Champions ‘Cup and Cup Winners’ Cup in the mid-seventies. The Champion of Champions’ Cup boasts two Nottingham Forest, one of the three oldest football clubs in the world (founded in 1865), which currently plays in the Championship (second English series) just like Leeds.

Nottingham team, winner of a European Super Cup, is the only team in the world to have won more Champions Cups than championship (two against one).Could Pulcino d’Oro stop here? Of course not! And then from the Premier League, the English Premier League, Newcastle arrives on the grassy surface of Leeds, winner of 4 championships.By the way, still about Championship it is impossible not to appoint teams like Sheffield Wednesday, one of the oldest teams in football history, born in 1867, star even in the top series with four successes, or Sheffield United that chases the return to Premier, passing through Wigan and Rothernham, without forgetting Preston.

From the third league, League One, among the many, Sunderland, glorious team that has 6 championships in the bulletin board, and Barnsley.Among the 16 participants there will also be Hamilton Academical, whose first team plays in the Scottish league.

So everything is ready for the “kick-off”, it will be fun! We are ready!
