The wait is over, the highly anticipated tenth edition of “Pulcino d’Oro” begins

European tournaments are underway. We are going to fly in England to Leeds United’s home

“Pulcino d’Oro” 2025 is about to take off for an even more exciting and worldwide edition, with many new features and unprecedented growth. The event will experience a highly anticipated tenth edition, which promises to be spectacular, marking new milestones, with a record number of stages and participating teams. The event will open with European and regional tournaments, and will culminate in the long-awaited final event, which will be held in Trentino, Valsugana, with the heart of Levico Terme from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th June.

This year too, the European and Regional path will be full of events. With 14 regional tournaments across Italy, the “Pulcino d’Oro” extends beyond national borders, with a European leg that will also touch Portugal for the first time, as well as England and Holland. The start of the European tournaments will take place on Wednesday 19 February in Leeds (England), with Leeds United as partners for the fifth English “Pulcino d’Oro” tournament. Since its inception, the key principles of the event have been Sport, children, solidarity, but also inclusiveness and sustainability, with ad hoc projects put in the foreground. The event also confirms its commitment to gender equality, with the third “Pulcino d’Oro Girls”, the tournament dedicated to women’s teams, taking place in parallel with the traditional one. This year, the women’s teams will have the opportunity to face each other in Trentino, in the presence of clubs of the caliber of Inter, Juventus, Milan and Roma.

The 2025 edition of the Torneo Internazionale in Trentino will feature 80 teams, 64 for men and 16 for women. For a total – from February to mid-June – which exceeds 450 sports clubs at the start. Participating nations include Italy, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates, England, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, France, Wales, Poland and the Czech Republic. The most deserving Italian amateur teams will come from regional tournaments, while the teams of high-level international clubs, such as Juventus, Inter, PSV Eindhoven, Leeds United and the holders River Plate from Argentina, just to name a few, will return to compete for the final title. All the clubs that have won the International “Pulcino d’Oro” Tournament in these 9 years of success will be present – for this tenth edition–. There will be no shortage of surprises on the top participating teams, with teams that have marked the history of world football.

In Valsugana, Trentino, in the 4 days of the event, there will be around 1,200 young players aged 9 to 11 who will start over 500 matches on the fields of Borgo, Caldonazzo and Levico. The event will begin on June 12, 2025, with the opening ceremony scheduled for June 13, accompanied by the parade of teams in the center of Levico Terme. The decisive races will take place on 14 and 15 June 2025, with the grand final and the awarding of the Pulcino d’Oro (Golden Chick), Pulcino d’Argento (Silver Chick), Pulcino di Bronzo (Bronze Chick), Pulcino Giallo-Blù (Yellow-Blue Chick) and Pulcino Arcobaleno (Rainbow Chick).

Another strong point of the Pulcino d’Oro is the possibility of comparing the amateur football world with the professional one. The tournament is an important growth opportunity on both human and sporting levels for young athletes. The Pulcino d’Oro 2025 confirms itself as a global event, offering young people a unique and stimulating experience. In this edition, fundamental values such as solidarity, sustainability and inclusiveness are continuously promoted. The registration fees will be donated to charity, uniting all the teams in a major solidarity project. Furthermore, the event will be dedicated to environmental sustainability, with the commitment to reduce the use of single-use plastic and promote the use of clean energy.

The tenth edition starts from England

Pulcino d’Oro 2025 officially kicks off its European tournaments, with a thrilling stop in England. At the home of Leeds United for the fifth edition, in the splendid Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate college, on Wednesday 19 February, teams from all over the United Kingdom, but also from Poland and the Republic will compete in an atmosphere of healthy competition, sportsmanship and team spirit. The tournament, which has seen its fame and importance grow over the years, represents a highly prestigious platform for young talents who aspire to get noticed in the world of football. This year’s schedule includes numerous intense matches, with highly valuable teams such as English side Manchester United, Newcastle, Aston Villa and hosts Leeds United, Scottish side Celtic Glasgow and Hearts, Czech side FK Pardubice and Polish side Radomiak Radom. With the public having the opportunity to witness exciting challenges among future European football stars. Families and enthusiasts will be able to experience the thrill of an event that celebrates the passion for sport, the growth of young athletes and the importance of cultural integration through football. The next Pulcino d’Oro events will be held in Portugal at the beginning of March and in Italy in Caserta and Rome for the start of an exciting tour of Italy.
