Tournament Description
With the 11th edition of the International Pulcino d’Oro Tournament now complete, we are ready to return to Basilicata for the 2nd Pulcino d’Oro Basilicata – City of Matera Regional Tournament, organized in collaboration with our partner club Franco Selvaggi.
Last year, Pulcino d’Oro made its debut in Basilicata, bringing excitement, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments to young players, clubs, and families. Matera provided the perfect stage for a qualifying tournament where talent, passion, and fun took center stage.
Hosted by Franco Selvaggi and attended by the proud 1982 FIFA World Cup winner, the tournament saw the home side lift the Pulcino d’Oro trophy after overcoming strong opponents such as Pro Calcio Bari and Invictus Lam. The Silver Group was also dominated by the hosts, with Franco Selvaggi Yellow finishing ahead of Likos and Rapolla Soccer, while Hellas Laterza claimed the Bronze Group title after an outstanding campaign.
After an incredible first edition, we are already laying the foundations for a second unforgettable tournament.
The dates for the next Basilicata qualifying tournament will be announced soon. The countdown is about to begin…
