Dieci e Lode Academy wins in Campania from Real Sito Caserta

The Pulcino d’Oro kicked off its intense tour of Italy with a resounding success in Campania. Following Middlesbrough’s victories in the Fifth English Tournament and Benfica’s victories in the First Portuguese Tournament, the Trentino event arrived in Italy on March 15 and 16 at the Open Sports Center in Caserta, thanks to the collaboration with partner company Real Sito. Twenty-four Campanian Pulcino teams competed in an atmosphere of great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, resulting in a triumph of color, joy, and positive values. This year, the tournament’s European and regional campaign will be even richer and more varied, with fourteen regional tournaments across Italy and three in Europe. The Pulcino d’Oro continues to grow and consolidate its prestige, promising entertainment and excitement for all participants.

The coveted “Pulcino d’Oro” in Campania was won by Accademia Dieci e Lode, defeating Real Sito Caserta and Campania Puteolana in a thrilling finale. The competition was marked by fair play, pace, and, above all, respect for the rules, with a strong spirit of fair play on and off the field. It was an exemplary demonstration of how children can embody the true essence of football and sport, showcasing the “clean side” of the game.

The tournament format, which keeps all the children involved until the end, allows them to fight for a trophy until the very last match, teaching the value of healthy competition, courage, and self-esteem, without ever losing respect for the opponent. The Pulcino d’Oro continues to demonstrate how a proper competitive approach can teach young people not only to win, but also to accept defeat, a lesson that is built game after game.

Special thanks go to the partner club Real Sito Caserta, led by President Guido Ventimiglia, and its team, which includes Sara and Federico Lamonica and Roberto Cappella, for interpreting and representing the spirit of the Pulcino d’Oro with great passion and preparation.

In addition to the main trophy, other awards were given, including the Pulcino d’Argento (Silver Pulcino) to Soccer School Friends, the Pulcino di Bronzo (Bronze Pulcino) to Juve San Prisco, and the Pulcino Gialloblù (Yellow-Blue Pulcino) to GT10 Palla al Centro. The Pulcini Arcobaleno (Rainbow Pulcinos) were awarded to Atletico Portici, La Fenice Calcio, Polisportiva Agrese, and TDL Marcianise. “We experienced two unforgettable days, with a tournament that successfully combined sport and values, just as the Pulcino d’Oro philosophy dictates” commented the organizing staff of Real Sito Caserta. “Seeing the children’s passion and the involvement of their families encourages us to continue on this path, making each event a unique experience. We truly enjoy this event, which we believe to be of the highest caliber, and we are delighted to be the Partner for the Campania region.” A particularly significant aspect of this edition was the collaboration with the Manzoni High School in Caserta, which saw a class from the sports school support the organizing staff during the event. The students had the opportunity to experience firsthand the management of a high-level event, experiencing the value of sports organization firsthand and putting into practice the skills they acquired during their studies. This educational project represented an important bridge between school and the world of sports, bringing the students closer to a concrete and engaging experience.
