“Pulcino d’Oro” continues to enchant: emotions and sport from North to South

The Pulcino d’Oro’s journey continues unabated, providing smiles, excitement, and moments of great sport. After traversing Europe—with stops in England, the Netherlands, Portugal, and various Italian regions—the Pulcino stopped in Lombardy, Umbria, and Friuli Venezia Giulia, bringing with it all its enthusiasm and the unique magic that only children’s soccer can convey. Three special events, rich in color, voices, and stories. Three stages that, beyond the consistently high technical value, demonstrated once again that the Pulcino d’Oro is much more than a simple tournament: it is an event that educates, unites, and fosters growth. On the pitch, you don’t just win and lose, you learn to do so with honesty, with respect for your opponent, and with the desire to improve. And we do it together, thanks also to the partner clubs, selected by the Organizing Committee, who made it all possible with precise and passionate organization.

Villa Cortese: Universal Solaro triumphs in Lombardy

The third edition of the Lombardy tournament took place in Villa Cortese, in the province of Milan. It was an intense and competitive two-day event, where, among the 32 teams participating, Universal Solaro, Inter’s soccer school, prevailed over Accademia Inter – winners in 2023 – in a thrilling final decided in a shootout. Enotria and Cedratese completed the podium, while the Silver Pulcino went to Voluntas Brescia ahead of Cimiano, Atalanta, and Ardor Lazzate. Castellanzese took home the Bronze Pulcino, edging out the strong teams of Scarioni, Como, and Arcon Villa, and Sedriano took home the Yellow-Blue Pulcino. Many teams were also protagonists in the rainbow groups, including Sondrio, Castiglione, Canegrate and Seguro, who raised their respective trophies to the sky.

Castiglione del Lago: Umbria’s debut is one to remember

Umbria hosted a stage of the Pulcino d’Oro for the first time, and did so with the enthusiasm of those who recognize the value of a special event. It was a true success, with 16 teams and a blaze of color and a crowd cheering on the young protagonists. In Castiglione del Lago, in the province of Perugia, Pontevalleceppi emerged victorious, beating teams such as Orvieto, Santa Sabina, and Terni. The Pulcino d’Argento was won by Chiusi, while Terranuova Traiana and Foligno took the Bronze and Yellow-Blue titles, respectively.

Cavolano: Friuli Venezia-Giulia applauds San Luigi Trieste’s repeat win

In Friuli Venezia-Giulia, in Cavolano (Sacile), in the province of Pordenone, the Pulcino d’Oro returned for the second consecutive year and reunited with an old acquaintance on the top step of the podium: San Luigi Trieste, who repeated their victory last year. Ancona Lumignacco finished second, followed by Fontanafredda and Polisportiva Opicina. The event proved to be a top-notch event, with 16 teams competing. Sanvitese took home the silver medal, while Tolmezzo Carnia won the bronze, and Saronecaneva the yellow-blue.

A tournament that teaches how to live sport. The Pulcino d’Oro, through these three stages, confirms its status as an event capable of combining sport, fun, and educational values. Thanks to a format that allows all children to play until the final match, the tournament manages to keep enthusiasm alive, foster healthy competition, and teach the value of fair play, respect for the rules, and sportsmanship. A positive atmosphere reigned on every pitch, with an enthusiastic crowd and many young players capable of captivating spectators with their smiles, their determination, and their desire to be together.

But the journey doesn’t stop there. The Pulcino d’Oro is also preparing to take to the field in Tuscany, with the stage in Fucecchio, in the province of Florence, scheduled for Saturday, April 19th. Another opportunity to experience children’s soccer in its most authentic and engaging form. Then, the action will race toward the grand finale in Levico Terme. All this is just the prelude to the great final event: the Pulcino d’Oro International Tournament, scheduled from June 12th to 15th in Levico Terme, where the most deserving teams from Italy and Europe will compete in an edition that promises to be unforgettable.
